SHQ Solutions offers a training program which has a very personalized and specific approach.  Our team is at your service to understand your needs and will be able to adapt to your work environment. Our trainers have over 15 years of experience in fall protection and our company holds a Emploi-Québec 0059396 certification for its training program. Several training courses are available in fall protection and industrial rescue.

FALL PROTECTION

The main objective of this training is to allow the participant to acquire knowledge on the normative environment related to the protection against falls, work on roofs, warning lines, guardrails, evaluation of risks, hierarchy of solutions, parameters of falls, energy absorbers and fall arrest systems (anchoring, securing and harnesses). The participant will also learn about the fall with pendulum oscillation, harness adjustment, suspension test, component compatibility, rescue, inspection, articulated arm basket and different types of ladders.

QUALIFIED INSPECTOR

This training provides the participant with the necessary knowledge of the CSA Z259 suite of standards. The participant will be then qualified to inspect personal protective equipment used for fall protection, rescue and enclosed areas entry. It has, among other things, the specific objectives of allowing the participant to discover and master the regulations, codes and standards, components of a fall arrest system (anchoring, securing and harness), inspection methods and decisions and procedures of equipment removal.

ENCLOSED AREAS

The goal of this training is to allow the participant to acquire knowledge of the normative environment surrounding confined spaces (OHS laws and regulations, law C-21, CSA and NFPA standards), the prioritization of control measures, roles and responsibilities of those working in confined areas and the hazard identification process. The participant will also learn about risk analysis, air analysis, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation systems, isolation of hazardous energies, lockout devices, protective equipment, means of communication and rescue.

INDUSTRIAL RESCUE

This training will allow participants to acquire knowledge needed to identify the basic concepts of rescue in an industrial workplace based on a selection of several types of equipment available on the market. Its objective is to allow the participant to discover and master the regulations, codes and standards, the orthostatic syncope, the evaluation of an intervention time, the stages of a rescue, the standardized equipment, the inspection and the storage.
